Middle Tennessee Ice Storm & Order Updates

If you have stepped outside in Middle Tennessee over the last few days or seen the news lately, you know that "frozen" doesn’t even begin to describe it. The January 2026 Ice Storm was one for the history books, bringing our region to a standstill with a significant amount of ice —upwards of 0.75 inches of ice and record-breaking low temperatures. We have not seen such extreme amounts of ice since the February 1994 Ice Storm that hit Middle Tennessee hard 32 years ago.

While we love a good winter wonderland as much as the next person, this particular storm brought significant challenges to our operations. We know many of you are eagerly awaiting your orders, and we want to be completely transparent about where we stand.

The Situation at Our Warehouse

Our warehouse in Dickson, Tennessee was hit hard by the widespread power outages that impacted over 300,000 neighbors across the region — including our facility, which was without power from the onset of the storm through Tuesday afternoon. Even after the lights came back on, we are still experiencing occasional short outages — not to mention the extreme cold and "black ice" on the roads made it extremely unsafe for our team to travel to the warehouse until Wednesday morning.

Our Fulfillment Roadmap

We are working around the clock to get your orders out the door.
Here is what you can expect:

Order Status Estimated Shipping Window
Orders placed before Jan 24 Shipping by Friday, Jan 30
Orders placed during the storm Shipping by Monday, Feb 2
New Orders Standard processing times resuming Feb 3

  • Note: Please keep in mind that while we are moving as fast as possible, regional shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, and USPS) are also dealing with their own backlogs and icy routes.

We Value Your Patience

We know it’s frustrating to wait, especially when you’re counting on us. We are a small business, and we feel every delay personally. Our team is currently working hard to make sure every order is handled with care and shipped out as soon as possible.

If you have a specific question about your order, we are happy to help! Please reach out to our team via email using our Contact Us form or by phone at 866-406-7869. We’re working through emails as quickly as we can, so please bear with us if our response time is a little longer than usual.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to our friends at Dickson Electric System, Water Authority of Dickson County, Greater Dickson Gas Authority, the City of Dickson Public Works, Dickson County Highway Department and Tennessee Department of Transportation for working tirelessly around the clock through this mess and restoring power, maintaining essential utilities and clearing the roads of snow and ice.

Thank you for sticking with us through this huge mess. We greatly appreciate your business and patience — we always look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,
